A constant source of inspiration for us at Inspyrus is keeping tabs on our CFOs and high-ranking finance leader customers and their innovation initiatives.
Inspyrus customer Nik Rupp, CFO of Specialized Bicycle Components, Inc., was featured in CFO Magazine in a story on “Top CFO Priorities for 2018.”
In the story, Rupp talks about how he is overseeing the creation of a dedicated data team that will be looking not just at financial data, but point-of-sale data, data from website visits, retailer inventory data, and other information. His goal is to build a “culture of data.”
Not surprisingly, since this approach has ushered in a new way of working, there’s been some resistance in the organization, but Rupp says he’s starting to see the impact on generating new ideas and understanding not just the traditional finance data but what’s happening in the broader marketplace.
Innovation is now priority No. 1 for CFOs and a new class of digital disruptors is transforming how business gets done and driving process improvements and growth – both inside the finance department and throughout the organization.
Inspyrus is proud to support today’s most innovative finance leaders. Together we are transforming Accounts Payable departments from cost centers to profit centers by optimizing the invoice-to-payment cycle to improve working capital by maximizing early payment discount capture.
